''Heinrich Arp'' was a cargo ship that was built in 1923 by F Schichau, Elbling, Germany for German owners. In May 1945, she was seized by the Allies at Hamburg, passed to the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT) and renamed ''Empire Connemara''. In 1946, she transferred to the Soviet Union and renamed ''Liza Chaikina''.
